Classroom Microgreen Bundle
Introducing the Natural Yield Classroom Microgreen Bundle!
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for primary school classrooms to embark on a green journey like no other. Our program revolves around the cultivation of Microgreens, and we believe it brings a host of benefits to both students and educators alike.
By incorporating Microgreens into your classroom, you'll be providing a hands-on learning experience that engages students in the wonders of plant growth and biology. Witnessing the life cycle of plants, from seeds to the vibrant microgreen stage, will spark their curiosity and deepen their understanding of the natural world.
We have aligned the content to suit the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0: Achievement standard aligned to content descriptions. We have provided Lesson Plans for Year 1 and Year 3 and indicated the content descriptions each lesson targets. Our goal is to make it easy for educators to integrate this program into the classroom knowing that educational goals are being met.
Year 1 Classroom Microgreens Lesson Plan
This document provides an outline for teachers to help plan and deliver the Classroom Microgreen Bundle to a Year 1 classroom. We have provided alignment to the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 so that teachers can easily incorporate this into meeting learning objectives. A legend is provided below. The content represents an approximate 2 week duration, as Microgreens take between 7 - 10 days to mature to harvest stage. Suggested learning objectives and activities are also outlined. Detailed resources (including Powerpoint files and instructional videos, are available once the Classroom Microgreen Bundle is purchased.
Bring the fun and educational power of microgreens into your classroom with this brand-new microgreens classroom kit! Ideal for STEM activities, this bundle includes everything you need to get your students started on their journey to growing microgreens.
Grow fresh microgreens right in your classroom – there’s no better way to get students excited about science! Fuel creativity by nurturing green inspirations with the Classroom Microgreen Bundle.
The teaching opportunities span plant biology, human biology (nutrition) and home economics (eating them!)
The Natural Yield Classroom Microgreen Bundle is perfect for primary school classes, and we believe that they will be a valuable addition to your curriculum.
