Guidance on what you could start with

The kit variations are intended to provide a range of options depending on your needs.  If you just want to try it out as cheaply as possible and you have good daylight conditions you should probably start with the single shelf with no lights.  That is just $105.

If you need more light (perhaps you are putting the kit in a darker area or not getting enough light in winter) then you might want to add the variation with lights.

You can start out with a single shelf and then purchase individual kit components as you want to expand.  This kit is designed for small home (family) growers.  For commercial growers we supply racks that hold 20 trays and will work with you on commercial pricing.
