What are Kidney Stones?

Properties
Cucumber is a food popularly known for its diuretic effect, which helps eliminate excess fluids and wastes from the body. Kidneys are the main organs responsible for filtering and eliminating waste from the body through urine. When they are healthy, they perform that function adequately, but in case they have an excessive load of toxins or waste, their ability to filter properly may be compromised.
Cucumber helps cleanse the kidneys due to its high water and electrolyte content, such as potassium, magnesium, and silicon. In addition, cucumber contains compounds called cucurbitacins, which also act as diuretics and can help reduce inflammation. This may help improve kidney function and reduce the risk of long-term kidney disease.
Celery is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that may help prevent the formation of kidney stones.
First, celery acts as a natural diuretic, which means that it helps increase urine production and thus promotes the elimination of harmful substances from the body through urine. In addition to this, celery is also rich in compounds called phytochemicals, such as apigenin, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Chronic inflammation can contribute to the development of kidney stones, and antioxidants, such as those present in celery, help neutralize free radicals, reducing inflammation and protecting the health of the urinary tract.
Finally, celery is rich in malic acid and citric acid, which can help dissolve existing kidney stones and prevent the formation of new ones.
Oat milk is a healthy and natural alternative to animal milk that may be suitable for people with kidney stones and urinary problems. The reason behind this is that oat milk is rich in nutrients that can help prevent the formation of kidney stones.
Oat milk is low in fat and protein and does not contain lactose, which means it is less likely to cause kidney stones.
In addition, oat milk contains a good amount of soluble fiber, which helps reduce the absorption of cholesterol and saturated fats, which can also help prevent the formation of kidney stones. In addition, the soluble fiber in oat milk also helps keep the digestive system healthy and regular, and this can be particularly beneficial for people who have kidney stones, as constipation can contribute to the buildup of toxins and increase the risk of kidney stones.
Finally, oat milk is rich in phytates, which are compounds that bind to minerals and reduce their absorption in the body. In the case of kidney stones, phytates can help prevent mineral buildup and reduce the risk of kidney stone formation.
Lemon microgreens are an excellent source of antioxidants and beneficial nutrients that can improve kidney function. Some of the reasons why they are good for the kidneys are:
- Diuretic effect: lemon is known for its natural diuretic effect, which means that it helps to increase urination and eliminate excess fluids and toxins from the body. This, in turn, can help reduce the load on the kidneys and facilitate their work.
- Low sodium content: Lemon microgreens contain very little sodium, which can be beneficial for people with kidney problems. Too much sodium can increase blood pressure and put an additional burden on the kidneys.
- Rich in vitamin C: Lemon microgreens are rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that protects the kidneys from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
- Potent anti-inflammatory: the anti-inflammatory properties of lemon microgreens can prevent inflammation of kidney tissues. Chronic inflammation can damage the kidneys and cause waste and toxins to accumulate in the body.
The ingredients in this smoothie make it an excellent choice for people who want to treat or prevent kidney stones.
