BOOTSTRAP FARMER 5X5 GROW INSERTS | SHALLOW
The BOOTSTRAP FARMER 5X5 Grow inserts are great for dividing up your microgreen tray into different segments giving you an ability to divide your tray into different small batch crops.
They are durable and guaranteed not to warp or break. The inserts are BPA-free and are made of heavy-duty, food-grade polypropylene plastic.
No need to throw away cheap flimsy trays when you can use trays that are built to last for years. Our trays are built to be used for many years to come. Save yourself time and money by reusing your trays which will keep both your pockets and the earth green.
These 5″ x 5″ inserts can be used in multiple situations, including both indoors and outdoors, soil, microgreen or hydroponic applications.
Six drainage slits are used to remove excess water and allow use with flood trays.

Please note: These do not fit well in our standard 1010 trays. Since our 1010 trays are designed to fit two into a 1020, they are slightly smaller and do not fit four 5×5 trays precisely

Please note:
- This product is currently being sold in either the Rainbow pack of 40 (8 inserts for each of the 5 colors – 8 x 5 = 40)
- OR as single inserts where you need to select your own colors (you need 8 inserts per tray)
Note– Store trays out of direct sunlight when not in use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will lead to degradation

Love using these in combo with the mini 20 soil blocker as it allows me to get the watering below benefits and I also do not have to worry about different seeds having different germination rates when placed on the same tray (as I can just remove the 5×5 tray out from under the dome as each tray germinates). Also works great with microgreens, for the quick growing ones that I don’t need a full 1020 tray of.
